About the time I gave up my dream of being a cowgal (third grade), I decided that I was going to be a writer and wrote my first story called “Banishment on Ice Mountain.” I had just learned the word banish and used it along with banished, banishment, and banishes about 32 times in the three page story.

I’ve gotten better since then.

For the past ten years I’ve been writing all kinds of things — product packaging, web sites, newsletter, collateral, blogs, 140-character tweets — if it needs words, I’ve probably worked on it.
